Part L Compliance

JWA specialise in Part L (conservation of fuel and power) Building Regulations compliance assessments for Building Control submission and approval.

The amended Part L (conservation of fuel and power) Building Regulations came into effect on 5th April 2006. The broad scope of the amendments is to place legal requirements on developers, designers and builders to demonstrate reasonable provision for further reductions in carbon emissions from new and refurbished buildings

New build Domestic dwellings We use the IES VE Compliance software which has been accredited by the government as a commercially approved SAP calculation software tool to produce; SAP ratings, Part L1A compliance reports and Energy Performance Certificates

New build Commercial non-domestic projects We use the IES VE Compliance software which has been accredited by the government as a commercially approved SBEM calculation software tool to produce; Part L2A compliance reports and Energy Performance Certificates

Refurbishments We have the tools and expertise to assess any domestic or commercial refurbishment where the guidelines for reasonable provision are set out in Approved Documents ADL1B and ADL2B. We can produce Part L1B /2B compliance reports and Energy Performance Certificates
