JWA specialise in the production of low carbon and renewable energy feasibility assessments using IES Virtual Environment Building Modelling software, the renewables tookit and other relevant Best Practice Technical Guidance. Each project is assessed on the following basis;
- Shortlist low carbon/renewable options (CHP, solar water heating, biomass heating, photovoltaics, wind energy, ground source heat pumps).
- Calculate annual predicted site energy demand
- Calculate baseline CO2 emissions of site
- Calculate contribution from each Renewable Energy Solution (RES)
- Calculate budget costs of technically feasible RES
- Assess benefits of technically feasible RES
- Calculate reduction of baseline site CO2 emissions
- Include RES in final Planning Application
